This paper is a comprehensive report of what I studied during this project. I started with learning what an Artificial Neural network is and what are its components, what a Convolutional Neural Network is and its integral parts. How an ANN, CNN works and how they are trained? I also performed a mini project with the objective of detecting and tracking a human being. I made myself familiar with carious feature descriptors and I used one during this project. The project makes use of Histogram of Oriented Gradients descriptor.
